Farewell Louise and Happy Travels

After almost nine years at the Garvan Institute, it was time to say goodbye to Louise as she sets off on a year of travel and exciting new adventures.

To celebrate Louise and her incredible contribution to the Swarbrick Lab and Garvan over the years, we farewelled her with an amazing morning tea spread. Thank you to everyone who came along, and a special shout-out to Sarah for her delicious cake—chef's kiss! The fantastic turnout, including surprise visits from Swarbrick Lab alumni Andy and Simon, was a testament to just how much Louise has meant to our lab and the wider Garvan community.

Louise wrapped up her final day with a farewell lunch at Malabar with the Swarbrick team. We'll miss having you around, Louise (╥_╥). Wishing you all the very best for your travels and whatever comes next!
